Thailand offers an amazing combination of architecture, sculpture and art. If you ever plan to travel to Thailand, you would be amazed to see all the religious and cultural art which seem to be all over the place. This beautiful place is a wonderful amalgamation of the old and the new, of fast cars to horse and carriage hire. There are so many different places and wonderful artifacts to see. Some of the worth mentioning places to visit during your tour are as follows.

The Wat Chao Phraya Thai
Wat Chao Phraya Thai is about a few minutes from the Ayutthaya. This is another wonderful sight to check out. King U-Thong constructed it in the fourteenth century for the purpose of meditation. There is a massive pagoda that was built in the eighteenth century which can also be seen. Unfortunately, this pagoda is found in a ruinous state at present, but it’s still a wonderful place to holiday.
The Monkeys Temple
Also known as San Phra Kan, the Monkeys Temple located in Lopburi is a beautiful shrine which lies with 2 sections. The older section of the shrine dates back to Khmer period while its new section is a wonderful building constructed in the year 1951. The new section includes a 4 armed deity figurine with the Buddha’s head. The actual monkeys are in and on the temple, and they are a favorite of the tourists. Monkeys here are tame and they eat food offerings which are left by the worshippers.
Wat Phra Borommahathat Doi Suthep
This is one of the places which you have to visit during your Thailand tour. This was constructed in the fourteenth century by King Gue Na on a plateau. The sight is out of the world and shows the northern capital Chiang Mai of Thailand. There is pagoda situated here which holds part of holy relics of Lord Buddha. Buddhists from all over the world flock here to pay their worship to the holy temple.
